The Good News Club is a weekly Bible club for children ages 5-12 that includes a Bible lesson with an evangelistic or discipleship emphasis, and can include action-packed songs, life changing memory verses, and fun exciting games that reinforce the truth of the Bible lesson.
Where Does a Good News Club Meet? Good News Clubs meet in the neighbourhood where children live. They can meet in the friendly atmosphere of a home, a community centre, a school, a church, or most anywhere children will gather together.
Who Teachers a Good News Club? Christian men and women work together volunteering their time to teach Good News Clubs. They are trained by CEF to have a club that is exciting and informative so that children will want to keep coming. Teachers sign the CEF Statement of Faith, Life Style Agreement, take a Child Protection course, and have a current police check.
What Can a Good News Club do for My Neighbourhood? A Good News Club brings the teaching of biblical morality to the neighbourhood. It connects the child and their family to others where they live developing a good community spirit.
